Press release date: June 18, 2008

MILWAUKEE, WISCONSIN, JUNE 18, 2008 - HK Systems, Inc., North America's leading automated material handling and supply chain software total solutions provider, will host the 23rd Annual Material Handling and Logistics Conference September 14 - 17, 2008 in Park City, Utah.

This three-day educational event will offer more than 60 classes, workshops, roundtables and panel discussions focused around the theme of Operational Excellence. Applied to the supply chain, Operational Excellence is the practice of performing in a manner that improves quality, attains higher customer service levels, enhances productivity and minimizes waste.

The Material Handling and Logistics Conference addresses supply chain strategies, trends and thought leadership. The event will also demonstrate tactical results and help attendees foster the sharing of lessons learned, all with the goal of setting the stage for positive change. To enhance the educational process, the Conference will feature some of the most dynamic and respected speakers who will share their vision and wisdom on the following:

A distinguished military leader whose advice is sought by America's top policy makers, retired General Barry McCaffrey will provide an unflinching assessment of the world trouble spots and matters of National Security.

Senator Bill Bradley will demonstrate that the positive values of commitment, patience, sacrifice, teamwork and loyalty are not only still alive and well, but can be put into practice by anyone who wishes to succeed.

With companies facing increased pressure of commoditization and global price competition, Rich Karlgaard, Publisher of Forbes Magazine, will explain exactly how and where companies should innovate to maintain a competitive advantage. The 23rd Annual Material Handling and Logistics Conference promises to deliver unsurpassable education all in the relaxed surroundings of the Utah mountains. HK Systems is proud to offer this opportunity to help supply chain professionals achieve Operational Excellence in their organizations.
