Florence, KY (November 2007) -We are pleased to announce that, as of July 1, 2007, KMPT USA has become the exclusive North American distributor for HECHT Containment Systems and Lodige Process Equipment. For 75 years KMPT, the manufacturer of Krauss-Maffei Centrifuges, Filters and Dryers, has been a leader and innovator in the chemical process equipment industry and is excited about our new relationship with Lodige in North America.
HECHT & Lodige Process Equipment, the inventor of the Ploughshare Mixer in 1949, recognizes the need for a strong, well established support organization in North America and chose KMPT USA as their exclusive distributor. Our presence in North America over the past 50 years and synergy with the Lodige product line of Mixers, Dryers and Granulators and HECHT Flexible Containment Systems will allow us to deliver the same complete support for HECHT & Lodige's customers in North America as we provide to our own customers.
Our responsibility will include project management, product testing and new equipment sales as well as aftermarket support such as technical assistance, spare parts, field service, and equipment upgrades. KMPT USA will domestically stock spare parts based on customer needs, providing order shipment within 24 hours of order placement. This new relationship will simplify your order processing for new equipment, spare parts and service as KMPT USA will be responsible for importation costs (such as freight and duty) and all financial transactions will be conducted in US Dollars.
