HASCO's Mould Base and Hot Runner divisions will present a variety of innovative solutions for mouldmaking and tooling design at the upcoming FAKUMA in Friedrichshafen. The Lüdenscheid/Germany-based company is specialised in the development and manufacture of standard mould units and hot runner systems for the plastics processing industry.
The Mould Base Division will introduce its newly developed range of products for temperature control. A variety of product improvements and innovations in this sector allow, for example, improved temperature control or throughput volume in the well-proven range of HASCO connections.
A newly developed inclined sliding carriage specially for small to medium undercuts is also among this year's highlights. Two-stage ejectors with DLC-coated functional parts guarantee significantly improved service life. Ejectors, locating guide bushes and bolts will in future be supplied as standard with a DLC coating ex stock.
The Hot Runner Division has also taken another step in the direction of future-oriented technologies. A hydraulically operated cylinder for the motion of the needle valve packages improves the maintenance friendliness of the system because dismantling is can be done without exposing the hydraulic drive unit. As a result, the system and surrounding environment are protected from contamination with hydraulic oil.
An additional drive solution for needle valve plates is the servo motor control that features a control technology especially developed for plastics processors. A modular range of needle valves for individual pneumatic and hydraulic control in different housing variants round off the new drive unit portfolio.
Also new is the Valve Gate Shot, a needle valve nozzle for the packaging sector with convincing process and service-optimised features and new nozzle lengths at an attractive system price.
With all new HASCO developments, emphasis is placed on using the latest technologies for improving efficiency and productivity, and also on identifying every possibility for reducing costs.
