Greg Chaffee to Discuss Paperless Picking Methods at ProMat 2007


LEWISTON, MAINE - DECEMBER 1, 2006 - Greg Chaffee, Vice President of DirectPick(TM) for Diamond Phoenix, will present a seminar on paperless order picking solutions at ProMat 2007 in January. The seminar, titled "Lights, Voice, Action!" will present an overview of several new technologies available today that may be used to replace yesterday's paper-picking methods. Discussion will include variables such as entry fee, training, safety, flexibility, productivity, accuracy, and where each technology is best applied.

Mr. Chaffee brings 26 years of national sales experience and a wealth of knowledge in systems integration, supply chain solutions, development of new business and professional sales management in the material handling industry. He previously held positions as National Sales Manager for Automated Guided Vehicle Systems and AS/RS for Mannesman Dematic Rapistan Systems, and earlier, as Regional Sales Manager of AGVS at FMC Corporation. Mr. Chaffee has served on the Board of Directors for the Material Handling Industry of America, has chaired the MHIA's Automated Storage and Retrieval Product Section, and is currently the Vice Chair of the MHIA's Order Fulfillment Council.

"Lights, Voice, Action!" (Session 121) is a free seminar that will take place on Monday, January 8, 2007 from 2:30p.m. to 3:15 p.m. in Theater D on the show floor at ProMat. ProMat 2007 will be held at McCormick Place South in Chicago, IL, from January 8-11, 2007.
