A Hydraulic Component Manufacturer uses the Gorbel Easy ArmŽ instead of a $30,000 manipulator to help decrease worker injuries. The Easy ArmŽ cost only a fraction of what the manipulator would have while performing the same task. The Easy ArmŽ is an Intelligent Lifting Device designed to give human-like control and machine like strength to move heavy & fragile materials quickly and safely.
Originally the workers had been manually lifting the 90lb parts. An issue because of the increased risk of worker injury which comes with manual lifting but also due to the need for precise placement of the parts into a machine. The manufacturer could have used a $30,000 manipulator or a bridge crane with a G-ForceŽ to do the same job, however the Easy ArmŽ was a cheaper all-in-one solution.
The operators were amazed with how easy the Easy ArmŽ was to operate & move when using the float mode on the Easy ArmŽ. They were so amazed in fact that the manufacturer is now looking for other opportunities to use the Easy ArmŽ in their facility.
