CHARLOTTE, N.C. - Goodrich Corporation's (NYSE: GR) Engineered Polymer Products (EPP) site in Jacksonville, Florida has been recognized as a 2011 Manufacturer of the Year by the Manufacturers Association of Florida (MAF). The manufacturing advocacy organization selected EPP, which is part of Goodrich's Aerostructures business, because of the quality and customer focus of its workforce, as well as its commitment at all levels to continuous improvement.

"This award reflects positively on both EPP employees and on the Goodrich culture of continuous improvement, customer-focused improvement and employee engagement," said Jim Pollock, Goodrich Aerostructures vice president of military programs. "Thanks to its continued commitment to the enterprise culture and embrace of innovation, the EPP team is providing its customers with products and services that meet or exceed their expectations. EPP has also created a positive work environment which promotes excellence."

MAF executive director Nancy Stephens said, "All of our finalists demonstrate a commitment to excellence in the manufacturing business, but our winners are the 'best of the best' manufacturers in Florida this year.
