Companies form a strategic relationship delivering added value to organizations looking to improve process efficiency

DALLAS, Feb. 26 // -- Global 360, a leading provider of business process management (BPM), and optimization solutions, today announced the company has joined the Microsoft Business Process Alliance, a group of industry-leading ISV partners focused on creating innovative, customer-driven BPM solutions on the Microsoft platform. Together, the two companies will continue to drive the mainstream adoption of People-Ready process solutions to enhance and improve the management of processes across the enterprise. Through the strategic relationship, Global 360 will continue to deliver tightly integrated solutions to organizations that need to simulate, optimize and improve resource-intensive business processes across different communities, including customers, employees and partners while leveraging the Microsoft platform.

As organizations look to better manage interdependent processes across disparate organizational silos, the ability to deploy an integrated infrastructure and BPM application enables companies to better address process inefficiencies. By leveraging the latest Microsoft applications such as BizTalk Server, Office SharePoint Server, InfoPath, 2007 Office System and SQL Server, Global 360 solutions provide the insight needed to proactively manage and enhance intelligent processes that connect the right people and systems to the right information at the right time.

As a result of the Business Process Alliance, the Global 360-BizTalk Server integration will allow customers to take advantage of these enhanced capabilities:

o End to end process integration across both the Global360 Enterprise Suite and BizTalk Server -- Global 360's business processes will be able to collaborate directly with BizTalk Server's process orchestrations in a bi-directional fashion (either process can trigger the other). o Global 360 integration with the BizTalk Business Rules Engine (BRE) -- Enterprise BPM suite users will be able to define their business process rules within a central repository in BizTalk Server's Business Rules Engine and thereby set the business policies that govern human-to-human and human-to-system interaction. This integration will also provide business users the flexibility to define and browse rules that span across multiple business processes. o Global 360 integration with BizTalk Business Activity Monitoring (BAM) Services -- Global360's Business Optimization Server (BOS) users will be able to drive real-time process optimization via collection of event data from BizTalk Server's Business Activity Monitoring services. The BizTalk Server-Global360 integration of BAM data enables business end-users to view and perform business process optimization in a single environment. o Global 360 integration with BizTalk's Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) platform -- Global 360 will leverage BizTalk Server's powerful service integration and composition capabilities to integrate/wrap line of business applications, legacy platforms or custom systems. Global 360 takes advantage of BizTalk Server's comprehensive integration adapter suite and Web services tools to abstract back-end system information out of the business processes.

Global 360 also announced its strategic intent today to align future product development with the .NET Framework 3.0 and Microsoft(R) Windows(R) Workflow Foundation, a development platform for the rapid creation of workflow-enabled applications. Global 360 views Windows Workflow Foundation as an important foundational part of Microsoft's process platform and is exploring plans to deliver an even deeper, architectural-level integration of their technologies and Windows Workflow Foundation in a coming major release.

As a Microsoft Gold Certified Partner, Global 360 is committed to providing industry-leading BPM and process intelligence tools that utilize the latest Microsoft applications to improve visibility and enhance the customer experience. The Microsoft Business Process Alliance will enable the further development of next-generation BPM solutions that leverage Microsoft applications and deliver integrated products to tomorrow's People-Ready business.

"Microsoft's Business Process Alliance will serve to further propel the adoption of mainstream business process technologies to organizations looking to manage, automate and optimize internal process silos," said Burley Kawasaki, group product manager in the Connected System Division at Microsoft Corp. "Microsoft continues to provide its customers with the tools they need to connect information workers to desktop applications, providing the features and functionality needed to drive today's People-Ready business.

"Global 360 is committed to providing organizations with the most robust BPM and process intelligence solutions on the market," said Michael Crosno, president and CEO of Global 360. "As the leading provider of .NET-based BPM solutions, Global 360 products enhance process competitiveness and enable organizations to better leverage investments made in Microsoft applications. As a member of the Microsoft Business Process Alliance, Global 360 will continue to provide the market with tightly-integrated BPM and process intelligence products for organizations looking to increase visibility, enhance process efficiencies and boost productivity."
