Florence, SC - ESAB Welding & Cutting Products named George Learmonth to the position of vice president of Strategic Accounts, North America, effective November 1, 2007. Mr. Learmonth will oversee sales activities to large end users and major distributors in the United States. He will be based in Hanover, Pennsylvania.
Mr. Learmonth received a bachelor's degree in welding engineering from The Ohio State University and a master's degree in business administration from Golden Gate University. He has been in the welding industry for 25 years. He was promoted from Director of Strategic Accounts for ESAB.
