Geoffrey Olson to Lead Camera Module Assembly, Alignment and Test (CMAT) Product Line for AEi


OLSON TO DRIVE GLOBAL CMAT EXPANSION, CAMERA MODULE MARKET PENETRATION

WILMINGTON, MA - September 23, 2008 -- Automation Engineering Incorporated (AEi), a global supplier of high-precision flexible automation systems, announced Geoffrey Olson as product line manager to lead the global expansion of their camera module assembly, alignment and test division. Olson brings over 15 years of experience in photonics and flexible automation. Prior to joining AEi, he was responsible for corporate equipment technology at Flextronics including development of the corporate equipment technology roadmap. During his tenure, he was responsible for corporate equipment evaluations and equipment development projects including automated manufacturing equipment for next-generation cell phone cameras and automatic fiber optic alignment systems.

Olson earned a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering from Portland State University with an emphasis in control engineering. He has also continued his education with graduate courses in optics, lasers and automation.
