C3D Labs (ASCON Group) is pleased to announce that GeoS Center has licensed its C3D Solver geometric constraint manager, which is part of the C3D geometric modeling kernel. GeoS Center is a well-known Russian developer of geometry software and integrated solutions for design automation.

"I am confident that the C3D Solver solution will be of great interest to our customers, as it will provide them with added benefits in their design work. The geometric solver is adds to our K3-Furniture software suite's list of competitive advantages."

"Over the past year, we have spent considerable effort on developing the 3D geometric solver further," said Alexander Maximenko, 3D Solver development manager. "In particular, we added the ability to define mates for any set of three-dimensional geometric objects. We significantly increased the performance of geometric constraints, and so we are pleased that our work is appreciated by GeoS."

About GeoS Center
GeoS Center's primary product is its K3 3D modeling software. The K3 kernel is the basis for a number of comprehensive industry-specific applications, such as the K3-Furniture software suite used by designers and cabinet furniture producers. K3-Furniture automates the processing of sales orders, and the preparation of production assignments.

The K3-Furniture software suite is recommended for use by furniture stores, shops, and enterprises specializing in the design, production, and assembly of furniture. This solution is currently used to great success by more than a thousand enterprises in Russia and the CIS.

About C3D Solver
C3D Solver is one component of the C3D modeling kernel, and is meant for use by CAD, CAM, and CAE system developers. The solver component consists of 2D and 3D constraints solvers:
• 2D constraint solver for 2D drawing and sketching
• 3D constraints solver for assemblies and kinematic analysis
The solver can be licensed as part of the C3D geometric modeling kernel or separately.
