General Machine Works has been recognized by GEA FES as a supplier that improved their material flow stream. The corporate award was presented to GMW by GEA FES in April 2009.
General Machine Works, utilizing a highly trained work force and world class information systems, is providing JIT components to GEA FES for their manufacturing operation in York, PA. The parts have been setup to be pulled thru a lean manufacturing system. GMW will provide deliveries to GEA FES on an as needed basis, to reduce inventory levels and costs for GEA FES. GMW will use its manufacturing expertise to improve process flow for GEA FES.
