General Cable Announces Electrical Distribution Channel Awards at 2014 National Sales Meeting


HIGHLAND HEIGHTS, KENTUCKY – General Cable (NYSE: BGC) recently awarded their Carol® Brand/GC and STABILOY® Brand representative agencies at the company’s 2014 National Sales Meeting, which was held in Phoenix, Arizona.



Coresential, based in Tampa, Florida, received two prestigious awards during the meeting:

• 2013 Representative Agency of the Year, Carol® Brand and General Cable Branded Products

• 2013 Representative Agency of the Year, STABILOY® Brand Products

Each year, General Cable’s Electrical Distribution Inside Sales Representatives select a peer as Agent Inside Sales Associate of the Year.  For 2013, the award was presented to Brent McKenna of Gobeille-Robinson, Inc.  This award was based on Brent’s overall knowledge of General Cable’s products, processes, computer systems, clients and markets, and his or her ability to deliver outstanding customer service.  He also exhibited the knowledge and skills to successfully grow sales and manage daily business flow. 



STABILOY® & NUAL® Representative Agency Awards



Regional Representative Agency of the Year Award Winners, who represent General Cable’s STABILOY® Brand product offering, are selected based on objective results that General Cable’s Electrical Distribution Sales team agrees to each year.  The awards for 2013 went to:

The Partnership Award is presented to the representative for all-around partner excellence.  GB Agencies Ltd., located in Winnipeg, MB, Canada, was chosen to receive the 2013 Partnership Award Ltd for their excellence in representing the NUAL® Brand in Canada.
