Press release date: July 29, 2009

Peachtree City, GA, July 29, 2009, 2009: The Harris GS 11 Baler/Logger/Shear was installed May 2009 at Baker Iron & Metal, Lexington, KY. According to Don Mynear, Safety and HR Manager for Baker Iron & Metal Company, "We have a couple of Harris machines including an HRBŪ and Harris equipment does the job, plain and simple, and that is the main reason for purchase of the shear."

The GS11 and GS series Baler/Logger/Shears offers horizontal mounted pumps, and independent load tables, allowing for more visual inspection of material by the operator when material is dumped into the charging box. Harris incorporates a simple- to- use OIT control panel with basic commands, operational information and diagnostics. Production reporting is also included. Harris GS uses a TRUE clamshell box for superior trapping and sizing of bulky material. This machine was designed to deliver a new generation of performance to keep pace with a company's sustained growth and provide overall lower operating cost per ton.
