GIW Honors Dedicated Employees

GIW Industries, Inc. may not have made Fortune's Top 100 Companies List but by
looking at their employee's longevity records, maybe they should have.

Each year, GIW holds a special banquet honoring an elite group of workers - current
employees that have worked for the company for 30 years or more. This year, the
group grows to 46 members strong. Even more remarkable, one of the group's
members reached a special milestone this year. As of January 2, Mr. Reab Berry has
worked at GIW for 45 years and currently serves as Director of Business Development.

During his career at GIW, Mr. Berry has worked on design, testing, sales, selection,
installation and troubleshooting of slurry pumps and systems. Using knowledge gained
from hands on experience, Reab has been able to solve the most mind boggling slurry
pumping problems and is well known as a slurry pump expert. "GIW is a great
company with a rich history and I count it an honor and a blessing to have worked at
GIW for 45 years. I am proud that GIW is respected world-wide for quality products,
technical expertise and honesty in its business dealings," stated Mr. Berry.

The 2008 meeting of the GIW "Thirty Year Club" was held January 17 at the Belair Conference Center in
Grovetown, GA. To be enlisted as a member of the club, workers must be an active employee of GIW for at least
30 years. At the banquet, the new inductees were honored with an engraved watch and other tokens presented
by GIW's President and CEO - Mr. Dennis Ziegler.

For a company to be able to boast such a service record, they must be doing something right. Established as a
small privately-owned foundry and machine shop in 1891, over the years GIW has made its way to the forefront of
the slurry pump industry. In 1996 GIW became a fully owned subsidiary of KSB's Worldwide Pump and Valve
Group headquartered in Frankenthal, Germany with sales of more than $2 billion USD. But GIW's basic
operating philosophy has remained unchanged. GIW continues to partner with its customers and offer innovative
solutions to the slurry pumping industry worldwide.

According to Patricia Hunt, Accounts Payable Specialist and new 30 year club inductee, the greatest change in
GIW over the years has been the, "...growth - more business and more people - and this is a good thing!." GIW
hopes to keep this good thing going with the support of its dedicated employees.
