CLEVELAND-GE Lighting has hired Jaime A. Irick to lead GE Lighting Solutions as its president and CEO, reporting to Michael Petras, president and CEO of GE Lighting. In his new role, Irick drives the development, growth and management of GE's global light-emitting diode (LED) product business for both the household and professional market segments. Brian Sroub has joined the company in the newly created global role of chief marketing officer for GE Lighting, also reporting to Petras.

Sroub most recently served as vice president of marketing and product management at the Cleveland Clinic Wellness Institute. His formal marketing training began at Procter & Gamble and was later seasoned through work for Sony Electronics Inc., and Hearst Corporation. Working as a consultant, he has conceived, built and guided marketing programs and organizations for several companies. Sroub has founded and led more than 10 entrepreneurial ventures, including organizations in the Silicon Valley. He is an inventor tied to 14 pending and issued patents.
