GE Awarded 12-Year Services Contract by NV Energy to Help Boost Power Plant Fleet Performance in Nevada

ATLANTA, GA -GE (NYSE: GE) today announced it has been awarded a 12-year services contract by Nevada utility NV Energy to help ensure the long-term reliability and availability of four key power plants within the company's generating fleet.
The agreement covers GE-designed 7FA/D11 gas and steam generation equipment at NV Energy's Frank A. Tracy, Chuck Lenzie, Harry Allen and Silverhawk combined-cycle power stations.
"Our strategic service agreement with GE is designed to increase the long-term reliability of our power plants and to help ensure maximum operational flexibility," said Kevin Geraghty, NV Energy's vice president of power generation. "Increasing the long-term reliability of our plants will help us control energy prices and meet the diverse energy demands of our customers."
