Gases and Welding Suppliers Offer Predictions

The gases and welding industry's most prominent suppliers predict 2010.

Dewitt, NY - In the most recent issue of GAWDA Edge, the magazine lets readers know what suppliers of gases and welding equipment are predicting for the year. As it turns out, we're now more than a month into 2010, and for GAWDA suppliers, things are already starting to look up. Welding and Gases Today recently surveyed a broad cross-section of the gases and welding industry's most prominent manufactures about expectations for 2010. 74 percent of survey participants are expecting growth in 2010. This represents an 18-percent increase over 2009, when 58 percent of participants predicted growth. Not a single company predicted a sales decrease in 2010, a welcome statistic following a year that saw nearly every company's profits tumble.

So how is this possible? All of the experts say that the recovery will be a slow one. The economy might not hit its stride until 2011. In the face of predictions like these, GAWDA's suppliers might seem overly optimistic, if it were not for the concrete strategies and plans they have in place to ensure that growth happens. What are these strategies? Read on below for a few hints:

o Practicing sound business principals

o Increased liquidity means more sales

o Expanded distribution channels

o Follow the money.

Those are just four of the ten strategies that are discussed in-depth in this month's GAWDA Edge. The only way to find out all the details is to check head over to gawdaedge .org and check out the premiere online resource for young professionals in the gases and welding industry.
