Press release date: March 12, 2014
Pointe Claire, Quebec – Future Electronics, a global leading distributor of electronic components, announces availability of MIPI solutions for embedded systems, from Lattice Semiconductor.
Consumers expect their electronic devices to deliver the best possible, feature-rich experiences, thus accelerating the adoption of MIPI (Mobile Industry Processor Interface) interfaces and sensors by system architects and design engineers. For a widening set of embedded applications beyond just mobile handheld devices, MIPI solutions enable OEMs to build systems that are low cost, highly reliable, and consume low power as they deliver the latest in display, audio and other features.
Lattice Semiconductor provides engineers easy to use solutions for bridging MIPI and sensor interfaces to the rest of their systems, with device families iCE40 and MachXO2.
iCE40 is a device family with ultra low power, starting at 25uW, available in tiny packages starting at 1.4 x 1.48mm, optimized for single ended I/Os, from 384 to 8k LUTs.
The MachXO2 family offers ultra low power and high performance options in a tiny 2.5 x 2.5mm package, supporting high speed differential and single ended I/Os, from 256 to 7k LUTs.
In addition, the LatticeECP3 family is for higher density logic devices, with mainstream BGA packaging, supporting high speed differential and single ended I/Os, from 17 to 150k LUTs.
