Charles A. Hones Inc. manufactures a wide range of all types and sizes of melters, furnaces and burners. Hones now expands on it's furnace offerings to include art studio applications to it's classic "Buzzer" furnace featuring the fastest copper solder melting available anywhere.

This miniature workhorse furnace now takes on a new role in art studios, glass studios or any fabrication metal melting shops. The Classic Buzzer furnace can heat 2 ½ lbs. of soldering copper in just 4 minutes. With a weight of just under 15 lbs. it is a perfect companion for a road show for field work in the art & crafts community. Heating copper for soldering stain glass, sculpture & ornamental iron work. This manufactured to last craftsmen furnace is good for general metal shops as well as heating steel, tin & other metals. Rated at 12,000 BTUH the number one "Buzzer" furnace can run on natural gas or propane, and of course it is available for any foundry applications.

We have evolved into a successful niche operator, supplying casting ovens, small heat treat ovens, melting equipment, forging equipment and gas burners to tackle heating projects ranging from black oxide tanks to pottery kilns, crucible pre-heating to lobster cookers. We specialize in designs which take full advantage of our wellcrafted Venturi air mixers to provide intense heat without the noise and complicated piping of forced air.

Whether it's Oven Furnaces, Salt Bath Furnaces, Round or Rectangular Melters or Gas Burners, we are your premium single source for "The Buzzer" and "The Fire Box" heating treating equipment for forging, welding, casting or any foundry heating application.
