Fujinon Lenses Selected by Production Company Delivering National Feed of Winter Games and Paralympics to Russia


292 FUJINON HD Lenses Supplied Through Sony Moscow and Broadcast Solutions



Wayne, N.J. – FUJIFILM North America Corporation, Optical Devices Division, has announced that it is a major lens supplier to Russian video production company ANO Sports Broadcasting (also known as Panorama), for production of the country’s national HDTV feed of the Winter Games and Paralympic Games in Sochi. A total of 292 FUJINON lenses were provided to ANO SportsBroadcasting by Sony Moscow and the UK-based dealer Broadcast Solutions. The Sochi 2014 Winter Games started on February 7th and continue through February 23, 2014. The Sochi Paralympics run from March 7-16th.



Included among the large complement are: 20 XA101x8.9BESM-TK telephoto field lenses, 41 XA88x8.8BESM telephoto field lenses, 24 HA42x9.7BERD telephoto ENG-Style lenses, 53 HA14x4.5BERD wide-angle ENG/EFP lenses, and 54 ZA22x7.6BERD telephoto remote-controlled lenses. The lenses will be used by several major European and Russian outside broadcast companies.



During the entirety of the Winter Games and Paralympic Games, Fujifilm’s Optical Devices Division will have an engineer available at its technical center to support FUJINON lens customers. The company’s Russian and German offices will also be available for customer support during the Sochi Winter and Paralympic Games.

Hours of operation for the center during the Winter Games are from 9:00 a.m. through 18:00 p.m. The center was opened on January 2 and will remain in operation until February 25th. It will be open during the same hours to support customers broadcasting the Paralympic Games from March 6 through March 16th.
