Fries Spinning Announce The Hiring Of New Quality Assurance Engineer


August 17, 2010 - Fries Spinning & Stamping announced today that Brian Haynes has recently joined the company as their Quality Assurance Engineer. He will be heading Fries Spinning and Stamping's Quality Department, and will be responsible for supporting internal and external product and process quality, internal auditing, internal continuous improvement, interaction with customers and vendors, and compliance with customer programs.

With over 20 years of manufacturing and Quality Assurance experience, Mr. Haynes has more than 10 years experience in the aerospace industry. He has also spent several years in the fields of injection molding, medical devices, and RF communications.

Mr. Haynes' experience in the Aerospace field and his direct involvement in the Quality Assurance of components for the space Shuttle main engines is bringing a new level of quality to the company. Mr. Haynes has been a certified ISO auditor, and has had extensive training in statistical control and probability. His has also served as a member of a pharmaceutical manufacturing company Material Review Board and a member of company senior management.

Bill Cook, President of Fries Spinning and Stamping's comments on Mr. Haynes' appointment: "We are very pleased that Brian has become a member of our team. He brings to the table a tremendous amount of experience that will help us with our continuous improvement efforts, as well as identifying and helping to correct quality issues. Given his Aerospace background, Brian will be particularly valuable in supporting Fries Spinning and Stamping's place as a defense contract manufacturer.

Mr. Haynes has an A.S. in Quality Assurance Engineering, has a certificate in Statistical Quality Assurance, and is a member of the American Society for Quality. He has been a certified ISO Auditor and has completed several courses in statistical and process improvement, as well as Lean and Just in Time Manufacturing. He was also a Certified Machinist during his time in the U.S. Army
