Freewave Technologies Adds Blair Harness to Engineering Team

Harness will continue to add value to wireless data radio provider's engineering department with his strong knowledge of both hardware and firmware

BOULDER, Colo., October 26, 2010 - FreeWave Technologies, (http://www.freewave.com), manufacturer of the most reliable, high-performance spread spectrum and licensed radios for critical data transmission, today announced it has added Blair Harness to its engineering department. Harness has worked as an engineering contractor for FreeWave since 1999 and will continue to act as the engineer responsible for various wireless radio products and technical development of the FreeWave product line.

Over the past 10-plus years, Harness has exemplified his abilities while working with both the company's hardware and firmware products and specializing in how the two interrelate. He will continue to develop the embedded firmware design for new products as well as support existing products. Harness also will assist in sustaining engineering efforts for the department. This is an integral part of the product development cycle because the goal at FreeWave is to help its customers establish communication networks, even where other radios may have failed. Harness earned a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from the University of Colorado in 2004.

"Blair has been at FreeWave now for more than a decade and we are very proud to bring him on as a permanent part of our engineering team," said Ken Granader, vice president of sales and company spokesperson at FreeWave. "He has been a great contributor in the past, and we expect great commitment and creativity from Harness going forward, as FreeWave continues to expand its wireless data radio solutions around the world."

"It is indeed a very exciting time for me and for everyone here at FreeWave," said Harness. "I look forward to facilitating the progression and support of our wireless data radio products and new solutions to fit the unique communication challenges our customers face everyday."
