Kalamazoo Machine Tool is offering a free bulletin describing the new Model H6A-NC and Model H6 SA double column mitering bandsaws. Both saws feature a 6½ degree canted sawhead, which is especially productive when sawing structural materials. The Model H6A-NC is a fully automatic machine is designed for production sawing of structural, solid and difficult materials. The Model H6 SA is designed to provide high precision semi-automatic sawing in a demanding production environment. All functions on both machines are fully hydraulic, and sawfeed controls utilize precision control valves. A freestanding control console allows placement in the most advantageous operator location. Both saws feature heavy-duty construction, quality components, and advanced design for vibration free sawing and extremely long blade life at high production rates.
The Model H6A-NC is fully programmable to enable serial cutting of various lengths, sizes, blade speeds and quantities, and store the jobs for ease of future setup. The Model H6 SA features two vises on the infeed side to ensure the material is clamped and never released during all feeding and sawing operations. The material feeder on both machines is designed to produce a very low friction coefficient and precise tolerances. The material feeder vise and saw vise are designed to yield the smallest possible remnant end, keeping leftover waste to an absolute minimum.
