Four New Scientists Join Chemir's Team

Chemir announces that four new scientists have joined their team: Daniel Mallon, Balsubramanian (Bala) Ramanathan, Ph.D.; Robert Muller and Chelsea White. They bring a wealth of analytical and physical testing experience to Chemir’s expanding group of scientists.

“We welcome their expertise in investigative analysis” says Aaron Cassely, Senior Director of Chemir. “They are already working on projects involving deformulation, materials identification, failure analysis and contaminant identification.”

Daniel Mallon is well versed in such technologies as HPLC, FTIR, LC/MS AND GC. He has also developed and validated methods using physical testing equipment. Previously with KV Pharmaceuticals, Mallon earned a BS degree in Biology, with a minor in Chemistry from the University of Missouri - St. Louis.

Dr. Ramanathan received a Ph.D. in Organometallic/Inorganic Chemistry from Michigan State University, under the direction of research advisor Prof. Aaron Odum. He has a strong background in synthetic organic chemistry, polymer chemistry, analytical techniques and physical organic chemistry. Additionally, his instrumental expertise includes GC, GC/MS, HPLC, LC/MS, NMR, IR, Raman, and TGA.

Robert Muller brings analytical experience with GC/MS, LC/MS, HPLC and UV-Vis. He has worked on method development and validation studies, as well as extractable and leachable projects for the pharmaceutical and medical device industries. He began his career with ABC Laboratories. Mr. Muller earned a BS in Chemistry from Truman State University.

Chelsea White graduated from Southeast Missouri State University with a BS in Chemistry and Biochemistry. She previously interned with Sigma Aldrich. She has experience with HPLC, ICP/MS, UV/Vis, FTIR, SDS-PAGE, Gel Permeation Chromatography, Osmometry and Dissolution.
