Airgas signs on with 'Camo for a Cause' initiative

St. Louis, Mo. (Sept. 10, 2008) - From October 1 until December 31, Thermadyne will offer special camouflage color patterns on its Thermal Dynamics CUTMASTER True Series 39, 52 and 89 plasma cutting machines.

The special patterns are perfect for the welder or fabricator who uses his or her machine to repair tree stands, hunting blinds and other hunting equipment or just a worker who wants a reminder of his or her passion for the outdoors and hunting on a daily basis.

The three machines offering special camouflage patterns are:

o The CUTMASTER 39 delivers 150% more punch with a recommended cut of 1/4" and a maximum cut of 5/8". Its applications include: auto body repair, plumbing, home shop, metal stud construction, HVAC, metal building and roofing construction and marine repair and rental fleets.
o The CUTMASTER 52 delivers 125% more punch with a recommended cut of 1/2" and a maximum cut of 1 1/8". Its applications include: construction, maintenance and repair and fabrication.
o The CUTMASTER 82 delivers 100% more punch with a recommended cut of 3/4" and a maximum cut of 1 1/2". Its applications include: heavy fabrication, manufacturing, and contractors.

"The sales of the Thermal Dynamics CUTMASTER True Series plasma machines have been very good," said Kent Swart, Thermadyne Market Manager, Americas- Plasma. "The reaction to this limited edition camouflage machines in the fourth quarter has been exciting."

Airgas, the largest U.S. distributor of industrial, medical, and specialty gases, and welding, safety and related products is working with Thermal Dynamics in an initiative called "Camo for a Cause." Every sale of a CUTMASTER Camo unit sold by Airgas will benefit Operation Homefront, a charity that supports America's soldiers by providing emergency assistance and moral support to the families our troops leave behind when they are deployed and to wounded service members when they return home.

Act now because this is a limited time offer. Consumers can contact their local distributors for more information on CUTMASTER Camo patterns and availability. A brochure with details about the entire True Series line (brochure number 63-2727), can be ordered online by visiting www.thermal-dynamics.com
