San Diego, CA - February 1, 2006 - FocalSpot, Inc (www.focalspot.com), a provider of cost effective BGA/SMT inspection and rework solutions to the SMT electronic manufacturers industry, announced today the addition of two industry veterans to the FocalSpot team, David Phillips as Operations Manager and Rolando Asuncion as Production Manger.
David Phillips joins FocalSpot as Operations Manager. David brings over 10 years of electronics manufacturing industry experience in the areas of: field service, applications engineering, technical training and sales support. Prior to joining FocalSpot, Mr. Phillips served in progressive applications engineering and industrial x-ray inspection product support positions at Nicolet Imaging Systems / SRT, GenRad ,Teradyne and SAIC.
Rolando Asuncion joins FocalSpot as X-Ray Production Lead. Rolando brings over 20 years of electronics manufacturing industry experience in the areas of fabrication, assembly and test. Prior to joining FocalSpot Mr. Asuncion served in progressive manufacturing support positions at GenRad / Nicolet Imaging Systems and Teradyne.
