Belting Industries foam belts fall into two categories: spliced endless with various bonded rubber or polyurethane foam covers, and woven endless with a cast polyurethane foam cover. The spliced construction is available in a wide range of lengths, widths and thicknesses for applications such as bottle cappers, packaging lines, and extruder take-offs where product cushioning is required. The woven endless construction, which has the cover cast onto the carcass in a mold, is available in widths up to 2" and lengths to 60". The carcass can allow for bleed through, or be bare fabric or coated on the inner surface. This construction can provide cushioning or act as a retarding belt in combination with a feed belt in paper handling applications.
