Flyer from National Adhesives Features Eco-Friendly Corrugating Water Resistance Resins

BRIDGEWATER, NJ, March 28, 2008 - A new flyer from National Adhesives
(www.nationaladh.com) features DACREZ® and ULTRA-GUARD® resins that provide
high water resistance and low formaldehyde levels for environmentally
responsible corrugating applications. According to the publication, these
resins allow operators to choose the degree of water resistance necessary
without compromising the environment. Both product families are thermosetting
resins that crosslink corrugating starch-based adhesives to develop varying
levels of water resistance.

ULTRA-GUARD resin, National's premium product, enables operators to attain the
industry's highest levels of water resistance in corrugated board with the
lowest levels of free formaldehyde - less than 0.1%.

DACREZ thermosetting resin further enhances the already superior water-
resistant characteristics of National's specialty starches. This resin
provides solid performance with good economics and low free formaldehyde while
offering excellent pot life, good water resistance and adhesive runnability
for up to 24 hours.

Both resins are compatible with all starches and do not shock the adhesive
system upon addition or use. And both contain a red color indicator for proof
that water resistance has been achieved.
