Fluke Announces New 'Metrology for Cal Lab Personnel' Training Course


EVERETT, Wash. - Fluke Corporation, a leading supplier of test and measurement equipment, is offering a new course designed for calibration technicians who want to expand their knowledge of metrology principles and measurement techniques.

"Metrology for Cal Lab Personnel" is a five-day course that is recommended as a preparation study course for the "Certified Calibration Technician" (CCT) exam and incorporates a final test similar to the CCT exam. Course materials include the "CCT Primer" by Philip Stein and "The Metrology Handbook" by the Measurement Quality Division of ASQ.

The course is available immediately as a self-paced online program and will be offered in an instructor-led classroom environment about once a month starting in May 2006.
