BROOKVILLE, OHIO Dec 20: Flow Dry Technology, Inc., a leading manufacturer of gaskets and desiccant packaging, recently announced the promotion of Bill Humphrey to the position of Engineering Estimator/Product Launch Coordinator for Flow Dry Technology, Inc.
"We are delighted to have Bill leading our product launch efforts," said Doug LeConey, President of Flow Dry Technology, Inc. "This position was created in 2005 to ensure that we have flawless launches on new products and product revisions, so we can quickly solve our customer's problems and meet their needs in a timely manner." Since adding this position, Flow Dry Technology has greatly reduced their Product Launch time.
"Since joining the company in 2002, Bill has contributed greatly to the success of our company in gaining new business through his efforts as Engineering Estimator. In recognition of his efforts and knowledge of our products and systems, Bill has been given the additional responsibilities of Product Launch Coordinator" said Doug LeConey. Formally, Bill performed the responsibilities of Engineering Estimator only. This position became available due to the promotion of Jon Besserman to Quality Assurance Manager. Flow Dry Technology, Inc. believes in promoting from with-in the company whenever possible.
As Product Launch Manager, Bill will be responsible for keeping track of the customer's requirements from the AQP (Advanced Quality Planning) stage through the PPAP (Product Part Approval Process) stage. He will work closely with Engineering, Quality Control and Production to resolve any internal or customer driven issues or questions in a timely manner. He will also effectively manage a customer's project from start to finish to ensure an on time delivery. This includes the development of tooling, routers, bills-of-material, and work instructions as well as any quality related documentation needed by the customer.
