Pawcatuck, Conn. - Davis-Standard, LLC is pleased to announce that Carlos Flores has joined the company as global vice president of marketing. In his new role, Flores will be responsible for developing and leading a global marketing strategy, enhancing the Davis-Standard brand and managing vertical marketing, as well as developing a new end-user market segment strategy.
Flores brings over 20 years of commercial experience to Davis-Standard. In his most recent role, he served as global marketing director for Momentive Performance Materials, Inc., of Albany, N.Y.; Momentive was created from the spin-off of GE Advanced Materials in 2006. Prior to the sale, Flores had held positions of increasing responsibility with GE, including country general manager for the silicones business in Mexico, customer service leader and senior account manager for polymers, and district and regional sales manager for the equipment platform for Water and Process Technologies. He holds a bachelor's degree in management and business from Skidmore College, Saratoga Springs, N.Y., and has a post graduate diploma in executive top management from Ipade Business School in Mexico City.
