Flo-tech PFM Tester Series Offers Internal Burst Disk
The durable, rugged and long time used PFM Tester Series by Flo-tech, is now featuring an internal burst disk. The growing PFM series has been relied on to simultaneously measure flow, pressure and temperature on hydraulic machines. The PFM line is being implemented on all units to include the internal bust disk component. The design will help ensure that in the event of an over pressurization that the flow is uninterrupted. Maintenance costs and environmental harm is reduced because the internal design eliminates fluids from traveling outside of the tester.
The PFM Tester utilizes a turbine rotor and a magnetic pick-up to measure flow rates by measuring the pulse from the rotor and transferring the signal to a provided LCD display, or PC screen. The PFM Series provide high accuracy ratings with a precision of one percent of full scale and a repeatability of 0.2 percent. Temperature is also measured with an internal sensor as well as an analog or digital pressure sensor. For ease of use and safety, all testers have loading valves with fingertip control and pressure surge protection.
