Efficient technologies increase uptime and maximise productivity for belt conveyor systems
Singapore - Flexco, the world's leading light-duty endless splicing and mechanical fasteners solutions provider, will be participating in Logis-Tech Tokyo 2012, September 11-14. Visitors can visit Flexco at Booth Hall 5-809 for live demonstrations of the company's innovative technologies, including the highly efficient all-in-one portable splice press, various fastener systems, and other wire hook technologies. At Logis-Tech Tokyo 2012, Flexco will introduce its portable all-in-one NovitoolŽ Aero(TM) Portable Splice Press, an innovative single unit that eliminates the need for additional external systems, such as water tanks and pumps, because all functions and subsystems are fully integrated. Also incorporated in the press is an air-cooling system that increases splice quality and operating speed, reducing downtime to only 7-12 minutes per splice.
Another highlight at this year's show will be the AlligatorŽ series of staple fastener systems, which are faster, easier-to-use and safer for operators. AlligatorŽ fastener systems are suitable for a wide variety of light and medium-duty applications in package and baggage handling systems, case and corrugated box conveying, and food and agricultural products. The Alligator Ready Set(TM) Staple Fastener system features one-piece fastener strips with pre-inserted staples that speed up installation and minimises downtime for belt sizes 1.5mm to 6.4mm.
Flexco will also be exhibiting its ClipperŽ Hook Systems and several FDA-approved fasteners. These fasteners are suitable for thinner belts, such as in food and packaging industries.
