Record Order Intake for the First Nine Months of 2008 - Sales Increased and Profitability Improved Significantly.
Third quarter 2008 o Order intake was $51 million (44) which is an increase with 16% compared to the same period 2007. o Sales for the third quarter amounted to $54 million (49) which is an increase with 9% compared to the same period 2007. o Earnings before interest, taxes and amortization of intangible assets (EBITA) were $5million (4) for the third quarter. The EBITA margin was 9% (8%).
January-September 2008 o Order intake for the first nine months was $179 million (144) which in an increase by 24% compared to the previous year. This is FlexLink's highest ever order intake for comparable periods. o Sales for the first nine months amounted to $159 million (140) which corresponds to a growth of 14%. o Earnings before interest, taxes and amortization of intangible assets (EBITA) were $14 million (7) for the first nine months. The EBITA margin was 9% (5%).
General FlexLink has reinforced its position in all major segments - Automotive, Electronics, FMCG and Health Care - in the first nine months.
