FiTech Division Celebrates ISO Certification
Michigan City, INÂ - Ashley Ward, Inc. is proud to recognize its FiTech division as it receives its ISO certification this month. Located in Michigan City, IN, the FiTech division has been a part of Ashley Ward for over 13 years and specializes in precision machining. Utilizing Hydromat rotary transfer machines, FiTech is able to produce large volumes of precision parts to various OEM’s. Their industries include lawn and garden equipment, energy and power management, and home appliance, in addition to several other various sectors. As part of Ashley Ward, FiTech deals with various Fortune 500 companies and thus adds this certification as another way to keep up with the advancing technology and need for quality.

As part of the certification process, FiTech and its quality department, headed by Tonya Starkweather, were asked to go through their entire quality and inspection process in order to comply with the standards, as set by the governing body. Not only does this certification back the quality of the products FiTech ships, it also certifies its’ processes as being above average. In addition, the ISO certification will upgrade FiTech’s reporting procedures and allow them to delve into more complex projects and procedures as they continue to grow with their customers.
