Press release date: November 2, 2012

Fischer Technology's DUALSCOPE® FMP100 and FMP150 coating thickness measurement instruments harmonize the flexibility and capabilities of PC-based lab instruments with the manageability of compact portable units. The unit has Windows(TM) CE operating system with a graphical user interface and a user definable file and folder structure. The high resolution touchscreen with virtual keypad simplifies settings, measurements and data evaluations. FISCHER DataCenter (FDC) software significantly expands the functionality of these instruments with data interface. The FDC combined with the FMP Series comprises all functions for convenient transfer, evaluation and printing of measurement data. It provides immediate evaluation of the measurement results and a quick overview of the process. With one click it displays a histogram, sum frequency chart and statistical process control. Customized reports detailed with your own specifications can be generated immediately. With the optional version DataCenter IP or IP Multi, the measurement results and evaluations are linked to attributes such as measurement location, name of operator, date and time. The inspection plans are created on a PC and transferred to the DUALSCOPE® FMP100 or FMP150, the operator follows the detailed measurement instructions and then the data is returned directly to your own detailed inspection reports. Handwritten readings on your inspection reports are no longer needed thus reducing costs while maintaining quality control.
