Press release date: December 13, 2013

Fort Worth, TX – Parker Hannifin, the global leader in motion and control technologies, produces flexible FEP convoluted tubing in sizes up to 4" O.D., and unlike PTFE convoluted tubing, some sizes of FEP convoluted tubing can be extruded in lengths up to 1,000 feet continuous.  In addition to standard FEP convoluted tubing, Mil Spec style SAE-AMS-T-81914 is available in regular or close convolution.

Convoluted tubing is unique because the convolutions in the tube create an extremely flexible tube, allowing the tubing to turn corners and be routed through tight areas without kinking or collapsing and yet, it is still self-draining.  Spring wire can be added if additional crush resistance is needed.  It is also extremely clear and aids in visual inspection of the media flowing through the tube.

FEP Convoluted is available from the Parflex division in sizes .153" O.D. up to 4" O.D. and can be customized to your application requirements, designing around pitch configurations and tolerances to ensure that the product specified is the most suitable for your application.  FEP Convoluted operates in temperatures up to 400°F/205°C and has very good chemical and corrosion resistance.  Samples, price quotations and literature are available upon request.

With annual sales of $13 billion in fiscal year 2013, Parker Hannifin is the world's leading diversified manufacturer of motion and control technologies and systems, providing precision-engineered solutions for a wide variety of mobile, industrial and aerospace markets. The company employs approximately 58,000 people in 49 countries around the world. Parker has increased its annual dividends paid to shareholders for 57 consecutive fiscal years, among the top five longest-running dividend-increase records in the SP 500 index.
