F.W. Webb Company Expands Into Pennsylvania, Extending the Wholesale Supplier's Reach in the Northeast
Allentown warehouse to open in May 2014 as the ninth state for F.W. Webb, enhancing the company’s footprint in the mid-Atlantic region
BEDFORD, MAÂ – F.W. Webb Company, the Northeast’s largest wholesale supplier of plumbing, heating, HVAC, refrigeration and industrial pipe, valves and fittings, announced it will be expanding into Pennsylvania with the opening of a branch in Allentown in May 2014. Pennsylvania will be the ninth state where F.W. Webb has a presence, joining the six New England states, New Jersey and New York.
The 64,000-square-foot facility will be located at 1665 East Race Street in Allentown, adjacent to Lehigh Valley International Airport. The warehouse will stock an extensive inventory of high-quality products for the residential trades and fuel dealers, including propane, plumbing, heating, HVAC and refrigeration equipment and supplies. F.W. Webb’s unique “open concept” store layout will save contractors time, allowing them to get in and out quickly and back to their jobsites.

The facility will receive regular stock replenishment from F.W. Webb’s 400,000+ square-foot Central Distribution Center, located in Amherst, NH, with more than 98,000 different items in inventory. Furthermore, within the F.W. Webb building will be dedicated classroom space offering training for contractors and trade organizations.
“Business in the Lehigh Valley area is growing at a rapid pace and we see an opportunity to play a key role in the region’s resurgence,” Dwyer continued.
As part of the wholesale facility, the location will be the future home of a Frank Webb’s Bath Center retail showroom that will provide the latest styles and designs in kitchen and bath fixtures for homeowners. The 8,000-square-foot showroom is expected to open in 2015.
