Farmingdale, NY, June 18, 2007 - Robocom Systems International, a global provider of Supply Chain Execution Software today announced that F.P. Winner, Ltd., a distributor of beer, wine and spirits throughout Maryland has selected RIMS®, Robocom's warehouse management system. F.P. Winner will implement RIMS to manage its new automated distribution center in Rosedale, Maryland.
F. P. Winner's volume has risen 33% in recent years with the addition of brands such as Corona and will exceed 4,400,000 cases this year and grow by 10% annually over the next five years. Managing growth of this magnitude required an investment in facilities and technology in order to continue providing the superior service for which the company is noted. The company decided to construct a new 300,000 sq. ft. facility in Rosedale, MD. RIMS will be at the heart of the new operation and will be used to manage these new increased volumes.
