Eyelit's Solar Edition(TM) Selected and Implemented at Stion's Photovoltaic (PV) Thin-Film Solar Panel Facilities
Eyelit's software supports PV production ramp-up in Stion's facilities in San Jose, California, and Hattiesburg, Mississippi
TORONTO - Eyelit Inc., a manufacturing software provider for visibility, control, and coordination of manufacturing operations for the aerospace & defense, discrete electronics, semiconductor, and photovoltaic (solar) industries, announced today that Stion, a manufacturer of high-efficiency, thin-film solar panels, has implemented Eyelit's Solar Edition(TM) manufacturing software to support its PV module production.
The strategic deployment of Eyelit's software, which was completed in just twelve weeks, included the following features:
o Complete traceability of solar panels from thin-film processing to fully assembled panel
o WIP tracking with integrated SPC and data collection
o Unique user interfaces that are tailored without writing code for each production line area
o Equipment state tracking for management of preventative maintenance
o Automated data collection from factory tooling
o Input of data by barcode scanning
