Cloud monitoring capabilities help customers smooth performance and meet SLAs

SANTA CLARA, Calif.-- Extreme Networks, Inc., (Nasdaq: EXTR) today announced that it has partnered with cloud performance management leader Nimsoft to better address managed hosting and cloud service providers who need to monitor and optimize their hosting connections and environments.

Extreme Networks has leveraged its automated and open network architecture, based on its ExtremeXOS® operating system to integrate with the Nimsoft Monitoring Solution (NMS), and offer real-time visibility of the network to its customers with NMS dashboards and reports.

Modern IT means that services and applications are in motion, delivered with virtualized, always-on cloud networks. By working with Nimsoft, Extreme Networks can offer its customers, including managed hosting companies and cloud service providers, the ability to monitor and optimize their network platform supporting cloud services with a scalable virtualized network and the proven Nimsoft Monitoring Solution, which has been installed with more than 1,000 customers.
