SOLON, Ohio (October 30, 2008) Excel Polymers, LLC announces the promotion of Marcus A. Pignataro to the role of President and General Manager- Asia/Pacific. In this role, Pignataro will be President of EXLP Global (Foshan) and oversee the completion of the construction and start-up phases of the company¹s new manufacturing facility in the Shunde Industrial Park in Shunde (located near Guangzhou - Guangdong Province in South China) and will be responsible for commercial activities in the Asia/Pacific Rim geography.

Pignataro has been with Excel Polymers since 2002. Most recently he was General Manager of the Performance Additives Business Unit since 2005.
Prior to joining Excel Polymers, Pignataro was employed by Ferro Corporation, where he was an Account Manager for the Polymers Additives Division. Pignataro also worked for B.F. Goodrich¹s Performance Materials business for ten (10) years in a variety of engineering, production, sales, marketing, and business development roles.
Pignataro holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from the Ohio State University and a Master of Business Administration from Baldwin-Wallace College.
