Hosts "Test Drive your Power Design" Hands-on Training Session; Exar Executive to Present at Conference Event

FREMONT, Calif. - Exar Corporation (Nasdaq: EXAR) will showcase its new digital power solutions - PowerXR - at the Darnell Power Forum 2011 in San Jose, California at the DoubleTree Hotel. Exar marketing, engineering and sales staff will detail Exar's offerings for conference attendees September 26 - 28, 2011 at booth #302. In addition, Exar will host a hands-on training session called "Test Drive Your Power Design" and conduct a presentation at a conference session.

"Test Drive Your Power Design" Details

Seminar attendees will design and validate a 4-channel complex power system using Exar's PowerXR digital power solution (XRP7714) in a hands-on environment. The approximately three hour session will be led by Kevin Parmenter, power systems engineer with Exar. Seminar students will leave with their working design and a complete PowerXR development kit. Conference Session

Exar power management executive, Jon Cronk, strategic applications director, will present "Realizing the Value of Digital Power" at Session #5 for the Digital Applications 1 track. Mr. Cronk will give his remarks on September 26, 2011 from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. along with other speakers.
