FREMONT, Calif., Feb. 22, 2011 - Exar Corporation (Nasdaq: EXAR) will be showcasing its Power Management and Interface products at Embedded World 2011 in Nuremberg, Germany. Exar products can be seen March 1-3, 2011 in Hall 9, Stand 330. These products and the demonstrations highlight Exar's continuing focus on delivering high value differentiated silicon and software solutions.
Power Management Products
Exar's full portfolio of the PowerXR family of digital step down controllers will be demonstrated. For the first time in Europe, Exar's PowerXR Development Kit will be available. It contains two fully configured evaluation boards, a copy of PowerArchitect(TM) software, a QuickStart guide, and USB cable. In addition, several evaluation boards for Exar's LED drivers will be on display including the SP76xx series high power step down LED drivers as well as the XRP6668 step-down regulator. Also, two of Exar's step down controllers, the XRP6142 and the recently announced Non-Synchronous PFET Step-Down Controller, the XRP6124.
Interface Products
Exar's market leading Universal Asynchronous Receiver Transmitter (UART) solutions will be on display at the booth. These will include the industry's fastest Full-Speed USB UARTs the XR21Vxx series and the single-channel XR21B1411 with +/- 15kV HBM ESD protection supporting up to 12Mbps serial data rate. Also at the booth will be a full complement of Exar's PCIe, and I2C UARTs. Additionally, several of Exar's market proven RS-232/RS-485 serial transceivers will be on display.
