YOUNGSTOWN, OHIO, U.S.A., October 6, 2010 - - To support its existing activities in Argentina, the Board of Directors of the EXAL Group has approved the investment to build two new plants in Brazil, including the installation of new aluminum aerosol can manufacturing and filling lines. The expansion is needed to meet the increasing demand for premium aerosol products in the Brazilian market.
Present in Argentina for almost 15 years, EXAL Group currently has two plants: one dedicated to aerosol can manufacturing and the other dedicated to filling. Both plants have experienced significant growth over the past several years due to the well-earned reputation for industry leadership in world-class service.
Previous owner and current CEO of EXAL, Delfin Gibert, commented, "For several years it has been my vision to expand into Brazil based on the progressive culture and tremendous growth in that region. My confidence level is so high that several months ago I secured more than 20 acres of property to open these new facilities. The targeted completion of the first new plant will be mid-year 2011 and the first filling line will be operational by the fourth quarter of 2011.
