Evluma, a manufacturer of energy efficient SSL lighting products, has signed a national marketing agreement with Service Concepts of Indianapolis, Indiana. Service Concepts was launched in 1990s by over 30 electric utilities to provide national supply and distribution alliances with "true clout and a common value of win-win."

In addition to their marketing role, Service Concepts will supply Evluma's premier product, the 40W LED Clearlight replacement lamp/luminaire for NEMA 'dusk-to-dawn fixtures' to the following states: Arkansas, Oklahoma, Louisiana, Missouri, Mississippi and some accounts in Kansas and Nebraska.

The 40W LED Clearlight is replacement lamp/ luminaire for NEMA 'dusk till dawn' outdoor fixtures. Historically, these fixtures use up to 175W Mercury Vapor (MV) or 150W High Pressure Sodium (HPS) lamps. With a power factor of 0.9 and the ability to bypass the legacy ballast, the Clearlight uses over 75% less electricity than a 175W MV lamp, says the company. An active cooling system keeps the thermal junction temperature low, resulting in long life and delivering an estimated L70 at 70,000 hours or longer. Dark sky friendly, the lamp's designed light cut-off reduces light pollution.
