Custom machined Eratalyte® TX parts that are strong, dimensionally stable, and bleach-resistant for meat-, poultry-, food-, and pharmaceutical processing applications are being introduced by Slideways, Inc. of Worcester, Massachusetts.
Slideways' Custom Eratalyte® TX Parts are machined to customer specification for applications that require parts which are strong, dimensionally stable, highly wear resistant, and can withstand bleaching and SIP/CIP. Suitable for indirect and direct food contact, these internally lubricated parts wear up to five times better than standard Delrin® acetal, claims the firm.
Ideal for bearings, bushings, blocks, cams, chain guides, pump impellers, slides, wear plates, and related parts, Slideways' Custom Eratalyte® TX Parts can be machined with ±0.001" tolerances, depending upon configuration. They expand and contract up to 50% less with temperature compared to standard wear materials and can operate at up to 200ºF continuously.
Slideways' Custom Eratalyte® TX Parts are machined to specification with price quotations provided after receipt of prints or a sample part. Literature and pricing are available upon request.
