Eriez' Ozimek Earns SPSM Certification from Next Level Purchasing
Erie, PA - Richard Ozimek, a buyer for Eriez® Magnetics, has been awarded the Senior Professional in Supply Management (SPSM) Certification from the Next Level Purchasing Association. The SPSM Certification has been earned by purchasing professionals in more than 60 countries across six continents since 2004.
Ozimek joined the Eriez Purchasing team as a buyer in June 2011, bringing with him a wealth of experience from his previous employer, Snap-Tite. While at Snap-Tite, Ozimek held various positions, including Machine Operator, Outside Processor and Planner, before becoming a buyer in the company’s Purchasing Department.
The SPSM Certification program includes a series of interactive online courses which comprise six key aspects of purchasing: fundamentals, analysis spreadsheets, contract law, negotiation, best practices and sourcing.
