Erie, Pa. - Eriez' Chip and Parts Conveyors employ a unique self-contained, continuous series of Permanent Magnets to automatically move and elevate ferrous turnings, chips, parts and small stampings along the outer surface of the stainless steel slider plate. Eriez Chip and Parts Conveyors feature Eriez' exclusive Tuf-Trac(TM) internal track system to allow quiet, virtually maintenance-free operation and ensure long service life.
Eriez' Chip and Parts Conveyors are designed with a heavy duty, enclosed construction to prevent jamming or clogging of objects being conveyed. Custom designed units can be submerged in coolant sumps or quench tanks, or may be located under punch presses or other equipment to move chips, parts or scrap. The working face is self-cleaning.
"Our economical Chip and Parts Conveyors provide superior protection of operating personnel and prevent machine downtime," said Dan Zimmerman, Eriez Metalworking Market Manager. "Customers who utilize Eriez Chip and Parts Conveyors enjoy improved productivity and profits," he adds.
A variety of models and options are available to meet specific application requirements.
