Erie, PA, 16506

Press release date: August 22, 2011

ERIE, Pa., Aug. 22, 2011 - Eriez®, world authority in advanced technology for magnetic, vibratory and inspection applications, announced that the company will expand its operations in the United States, Canada, China and India to address the growing global demand for Eriez products. "We are proud and excited to report that Eriez is not only growing at home, but also across the globe," says Tim Shuttleworth, Eriez President and CEO.

In the U.S., Eriez has purchased a 114,000 square foot building that is approximately 15 miles from its Asbury Road World Headquarters facility in Erie, PA. The new building, located at 1901 Wager Road in Erie, will house the company's 5-Star Service(TM) Center and handle manufacturing of Eriez' largest and hottest selling equipment including Recycling Systems, Column Flotation Cells and Hydroflow® Fluid Filtration and Recycling Equipment.

Eriez completed the purchase of the Wager Road building in late June. According to Shuttleworth, Eriez plans to finish some renovations to the space and move operations in by the end of 2011.

Eriez Minerals Flotation Group (EMFG), headquartered in Vancouver, British Columbia, will be moving from its current location to a larger building nearby. "This brand new building is being custom built to suit EMFG's needs," says Mike Mankosa, Eriez' Vice President-Operations. "Our new facility will allow us to build our larger proprietary equipment in-house, rather than utilizing sub-contractors." EMFG equipment offerings include flotation columns for minerals and liquids, StackCell® High Efficiency Mechanical Flotation Cells, Hydrofloat® Coarse Particle Flotation Cells, Gas Injection Systems and Mineral Processing Test Equipment.

Construction of the new building in Vancouver is currently underway. "We hope to move into the space by early 2012," says Mankosa.

Eriez-China will add another manufacturing operation in Tianjin to supplement their current Qinhuangdao plant. "Our new facility in Tianjin gives us an additional 10,905 m˛ including 1650 m˛ of office accommodation," says Andy Lewis, Vice President-International.

"Our new building in Tianjin will be ideal for building our Hydroflow Fluid Filtration Equipment, Suspended Magnets, Recycling Products as well as some of our other large pieces of equipment," says Lewis. He explains, "Our target move-in date is August 2011."

Eriez-India is moving to a new factory facility located on Vanagaram- Ambattur Road, near Ambattur industrial estate in Chennai, which is one of the largest industrial estates in Asia. Lewis says, "This facility has two factory buildings measuring 25,600 sq ft (2,400 sq/m) with an array of sophisticated cranes as well as welding and rolling machines and more."

The new space will enable Eriez-India to manufacture Eriez products to the highest quality standards, while offering faster delivery. Lewis explains, "In addition to the factory buildings, this facility also has an office lab building measuring 8,700 sq ft (810 sq/m). This lab has the facility to test both dry and wet type samples for our customers using high quality pilot testing equipment manufactured by Eriez." According to Lewis, both these buildings are under construction now and Eriez-India is planning to shift to this facility in September 2011.

"While other companies are struggling, Eriez is thriving," says Shuttleworth. "We believe that innovation, coupled with great customer service, is vital to maintaining our success. Therefore, it's more important than ever for us to continue to introduce new technologies that help our customers maintain efficiency and increase their profits, while offering the world-class support our customers deserve."
